A bit about me…
I teach yoga to both adults and children. My yoga classes for kids are carefully designed to suit the right age groups, with lots of fun, song and play included, as well as breathwork, mindfulness and relaxation. To adults I teach vinyasa flow with an emphasis on breath and mindful movement.
I have been practicing yoga since 2002 and teaching since 2016. I’m a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance USA after receiving my training from Ignite Yoga in New Jersey, in 2016. In 2018 I completed my Kids Yoga Teacher training with Peace Play. I’ve also done many other trainings and workshops throughout the years, as I’m always curious and continuously want to explore more aspects of this wonderful rich tradition.
I started out in the Hot Yoga studios of Pure Yoga in Hong Kong and while in the US I explored several other yoga traditions, including ashtanga and Iyengar. I’ve practiced with many of the leading yoga teachers in the US and feel particularly aligned with Seane Corn and Jason Crandell. Seane for her practice which weaves in a lot of spirituality, and Jason for his straightforward, clear spoken focus on technique and anatomy.
My education was in Graphic Design & Illustration (plus an MBA) and when I’m not teaching yoga, I illustrate children’s books and draw and paint.
I’m originally from Sweden but have lived abroad since I was 22, first in England, then Hong Kong, then New Jersey USA and since 2022 back in the UK. I currently live in Surrey with my family of husband, four kids, a dog and two cats.
